While sitting in my office doing my routine work I suddenly stopped working, as my all focus suddenly shifted from my work to a person who just came near me so as to serve a cup of tea, it was not the first time that someone served tea to me or I never had seen a servant in office before but reason of shocking for me was the face of a person, he looked so much familiar to a person I met long time ago.
I in my life have come across a lot of people who were born intelligent, having a mind we have seen very rare in our life but sometimes such people failed to understand what they really were capable of and yeah it sounds okay that a person having such a mind fails to achieve what he was aiming for, reason only is that they never respected the gift life has gifted them, I too have come across people who were not intelligent or have a ability to learn things quickly, but what makes them unique from others was that they were hard working and hard working is what really matters, you must have to give your best that even at some stage of your life if you fail to achieve what you were aiming for, you may not have regret of not trying to achieve your goal.
If someone tells me that a person who work hard to achieve his goals but still fails, I probably will say that sometimes life is so cruel to you that even your hard work not helps you to achieve what you want but what important thing in life is that you must not give up, as life may have other plans for you, so start with a new goal, point I really was focusing on was that people born intelligent or people who work hard can also fails to achieve their goal too, but question here arises that why I was shocked to see person who came to serve me tea? and why I started discussing about people, their hard work, their goals. So in order to understand we have to go a few years back so as to understand what was the real story behind all what I have told and discussed about.
2014
The year I started a new chapter of my life as I was going to join university, which for me was the last step so as to complete degree and walk into practical life. I got admission in IBA, Institute of Business Administration, best institute to complete my MBA from. So I started attending my classes at IBA and everything was happening as I was expecting it to happen. One day while I was heading towards my class I suddenly stopped because of the voice I heard of a person, I started moving towards the direction of voice from where it was coming and I came in to a hall where one student was giving a motivational speech, he really had great skill so as to encourage youngsters never to give up, I realized after listening his speech. I asked someone who was he and what I came to know was quite impressive, he won motivational speech competition recently and was one of the best student of department he was in.
After few months of his active participation so as to motivate others and working hard so as to maintain the level of his determination towards his goals he one day suddenly disappeared and never appeared in university again.
Now after so many years, a person who was a source of an inspiration for others, at my university time was now serving tea is what was the reason behind why I was shocked. A person who was determined towards his goal and was gifted with an IQ level a normal person don't have, a diamond in gold or silver, was wasted and I was still surprised and was lost in thoughts what was the reason behind waste of such a talent, such people which can really bring change towards society and are found rarely. After spending hours, thinking about what were the reason behind the condition that person was in, I decided to ask him what really had happen to him that now he is serving tea in my office while he was the one who had motivated all other person so as to achieve their goals, why did he fail?
Next morning when he came to serve me tea, I asked him to sit and asked directly that what really had happen to him and after knowing what he told me, I was feeling ashamed and was blaming myself and the society for what happened to such a talented boy. He told me that the day he last came to university was the day his parents had an accident and died on spot and he had no choice but to left his education and earn money so as to fulfill the needs of his younger brother and sister as there was no one to help him and all responsibilities to take care of his family were now on his shoulder. But he again surprised me by telling that he hadn't given up and he's still trying to complete his education along with fulfilling needs and responsibilities he have. I appreciated him for the courage he have to still stand up against all odds and still working for what he really was dreaming for.
At the age when people study and work so as to achieve their dreams, he was all left alone with pain to bear alone, with a pain no one can come over, a pain of losing his parents, and he still was trying hard to achieve his goals, this was the perfect example of what determination towards goal really is. While on my way towards home, I kept thinking about him, the struggle he faced and still was fighting against all the challenges. Somewhere in my mind I was blaming society and myself too, as we people also play part in helping others to achieve their dreams and give them shoulder when they face bad days but I myself and people as a society failed to help him, we being his colleagues never tried to find out why he left university and through what phase of life he was going.
We people have become so much selfish that we don't realize the pain through which someone else is going through, we all only care for what best for us and close our eyes when it comes to helping others. People of our society , we are living in has become so selfish that it only respect and help those from whom they expect to gain some benefits in return and just because of this, people who might have achieved their dreams if other people have had helped them, failed to achieve their dreams and end up struggling hard so as to survive and among such people only few are able to stand against all odds and work hard and credit must be given to them but question here arises is what to do with people who can't cope with the situations they are going through and the answer only is to help them which we people have forgotten to do.
We people have lost faith in what humanity is called, everyone is running hard behind money so as to fill their pockets with a piece of paper, now the most respected person is one who have a good amount of these papers, love is measured in paper, respect is measured in papers, majority of people help those who have a good bank balance and it seems like a piece of paper known as money has replaced everything. In days like these, to bring light in dark is only possible if we people realize that money cannot decide how we are supposed to live, we people have to realize that this life is much more than filling your pockets with money.
A hidden treasure if found and lost can never be found again, a hidden treasure which needs a lot of hard work to be found so as to increase wealth of a country and also can be used so as to improve living standards of people living there. So if even after knowing where it is hidden, people failed to find it, then they never will be able to succeed. Same is the case with people who are an asset to a country and plays important part towards development of it, Government must have to help those people who due to some personal problems failed to continue their studies or were not given an opportunity and we being citizen of country also have to play our part in helping such people too because if we will not help them we as a nation will never succeed.
Have you ever tried to solve a puzzle, a puzzle have many pieces and in order to complete that puzzle you need each and every piece, every piece is of equal importance, so if you fail to take care of all pieces and lost even one piece you will never be able to complete it. Same is the case with people who are talented but due to some problems failed to achieve their goal, these people are like the missing part of a puzzle, if not found and taken care of, puzzle will never be completed, and people as a nation will never succeed to achieve goals.
